An interior window. On this build I discovered that it is cheaper to buy an operational window than just plain glass. Life is strange that way. I wonder if the customer moved the set of drawers that was blocking the space? These are the questions that go through one's mind while working on things like this.

Before: some of the boards were rotted, thus the cone. The stair stringers weren't in great shape either.
New stringers and boards. The railings were a bit of a test. The install was easy enough, it was sorting through the materials to make sure I had what I needed. The kid at the store seemed to know what he was doing. Seemed. Always double check your orders. I wasted a good 2 - 3 hours rectifying that one. But they look great eh!
My first metal roof! A lot of research went into this. There are many grades in the quality of YouTube videos. Having said that, thanks to the content providers A) for the information and B) for the hilarity of the audacity of some.
My friend Darcy's new hardwood floor. It looked awesome when it was done, but doing the measurements and lining up the boards on two sides of the half wall was quite the exercise. This was a kind of quid pro quo kind of thing. Darc helped put a metal roof (my second!) on the family cottage the week before.
